In order to open an account on our preferred trading platform, tastytrade, you need $2,000. However, to maximize your learning, we recommend starting with $5,000. Some of our clients start small and add money to their accounts as their trust in the process grows. Others come with balances of well over $100,000. We work with aspiring options traders with all portfolio sizes!

We love teaching people how to trade options! Whether these concepts are completely new, or whether you’re looking to diversify your investment portfolio to take it to the next level, we want to work with you. The advantage of having a personal mentor is that we tailor instruction to your baseline knowledge to help you grow. This is not a cookie-cutter approach. The bottom line: it depends. We work with members who use a variety of platforms. However, if you are new to trading, we love the tastytrade platform for its ease of use. 

The sooner you get started, the sooner you’ll learn and start making money. As they say, “a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” For those who are serious about learning, we recommend at least 5 hours of dedicated study time. The more you invest now, the more quickly it will pay off.
